Tediber: What Sets It Apart
High-resilience foam structure, 25 cm thick:
- Tencel® cover — Lyocell from FSC-certified wood. Soft, silky to the touch, breathes better than polyester. Washable at 30°C.
- Comfort layer (3 cm) — Open-cell foam for a responsive feel.
- Memory foam (4 cm) — Follows body curves, reduces pressure points. Thinner than some competitors, which prevents the sinking effect.
- HR foam core (18 cm) — Dense base that carries the entire mattress. Approximately 35 kg in 160×200.
Firmness: medium-firm, responsive feel. Trial: 100 nights. Warranty: 10 years.

100 Nights with Tediber
Arrival
The Tediber arrives in a recognizable large cylindrical box. Unboxing is quick; you need two people to place it on the base — 35 kg is not a suggestion.
The First Nights
Immediate contact: it's firm. Not the "new mattress" firm, but the "Tediber owns its firmness" firm. The first three nights, our 62 kg sleeper found the mattress a bit hard. After a week, the comfort layer had started to settle in.
It's a mattress that requires a short adaptation phase. If you're coming from an old soft mattress, Tediber will surprise you.
Everyday Comfort
Our 78 kg tester (back sleeper): excellent lumbar support. The spine stays straight, pressure is well distributed.
Our 91 kg tester (side sleeper): good contouring of shoulders and hips, but the responsive character makes itself felt. Not uncomfortable, but you're not in the envelopment of a classic mattress.
Our 62 kg tester (stomach sleeper): this is where Tediber shines. Pelvic support is firm, no lumbar sagging.
Heat
The Tencel cover makes a real difference compared to polyester: it breathes, it wicks moisture. In summer, a spring mattress would do even better, but Tediber remains reasonable.
Motion Isolation
Good. The density of the foams absorbs movements effectively. You don't wake up when a partner changes position.
Durability
After 100 nights, no deformation. The 35 kg/m³ HR foam is dense and should hold up. The Tencel cover even gained softness after a wash at 30°C.
Strengths
The "one mattress" philosophy. No decision paralysis. Tediber did the work for you.
Proudly French manufacturing. Parisian brand, French design, certified European assembly. For those who care, it's a real plus.
Quality materials. Tencel cover, 35 HR foam. Everything is consistent with premium positioning.
Customer service. French-based, responsive, competent.
Weaknesses
Price. At €690 in 160×200, significantly more expensive than the Emma Original (€549) or the Hypnia Bien-Être Absolu (~€590).
Weight. 35 kg in 160×200. If you need to move, it's a hassle.
Firmness. Tediber isn't for everyone. If you like "extreme softness," look elsewhere.
Who Is It For?
- Back and stomach sleepers — the firm support and responsive feel are a perfect match.
- Simplicity lovers — no need to compare 15 models.
- Those who want French-made — the most consistent choice for local roots.
Less suitable if: tight budget, you like a very soft mattress, or you move frequently.
